Enhance your learning, skills and transform your career by upskilling

Why Upskill?

Education should be considered an ongoing part of your career if you are looking to progress.

Career progression

Upskilling is a great way to speed up your progression into senior roles you want to be employed in and it also comes with the potential to earn more money.

Competitive advantage

Today’s job market is hugely competitive. By upskilling you increase your competitive advantage and provide a tangible point of difference against others.

Enhance your qualifications

Certificate IV and Diploma level qualifications are ideal if you are aspiring or preparing for a more senior role or preparing yourself for a supervisory/management role.

Study Modes

All qualifications listed are available to undertake via a self-paced mode or via an employment-based traineeship (eligibility criteria applies).

Employment based traineeship

An employment based traineeship allows for delivery of your qualification on the job with a Trainer and Assessor conducting workplace monitoring and assessment. Duration is typically 24 months full time or until all competencies are achieved (part time traineeships are also available). Eligibility criteria applies. Discover why hiring a trainee is a smart investment for your business by clicking here.

Self paced learning

Allows learners the flexibility to study at times that are suitable. Learners can work through learning material independently knowing that a dedicated Trainer and Assessor will guide them through the training and assessment process and be available for support when required. This mode of study suits students who have good time management skills and who don’t need structured face to face sessions.

What are the Costs Involved?

ET Australia is a Smart and Skilled approved training provider, we can offer qualifications via subsidised training.

Government funding available

ET Australia is a Smart and Skilled approved training provider, meaning that we can offer these qualifications via subsidised training (eligibility criteria applies). This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.

All ET Australia qualifications listed are approved for delivery under Smart and Skilled.

If you’re eligible for subsidised training under Smart and Skilled, you pay only a portion of the training cost. The rest is subsidised by the NSW Government and they pay an average 55-90 per cent of the cost of each qualification.

Smart and Skilled student fees are set for each qualification and the fee payable is determined by ET Australia upfront.

For further information visit the Smart and Skilled website:

Smart & Skilled student fees

To assist students with payment of the student fee ET Australia has payment plans available. Payment plans are developed in consultation with you and can weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Further info on Payment Plan Agreements is available in the Student Handbook.

All listed qualifications are approved under Smart and Skilled for delivery via traineeship arrangements (eligibility criteria applies) and for new entrant trainees the student fee is capped at $1,000

For each unit where Credit Transfer or Recognition or Prior Learning is granted, the student fee is reduced accordingly.

If you are an eligible student, a fee exemption may apply or you may be eligible to pay the concession fee.
