Government funding is available for your business to hire trainees.

Traineeship costs

  • Traineeship training is fee-free for new entrant trainees who are registered trainees.
  • This training is offered under Smart and Skilled. Trainees may be eligible for fee-free traineeship training.
  • Existing worker trainees are not subsidised under Smart and Skilled.
  • With the NSW Government’s fee-free traineeship initiative, there has never been a better time to consider taking on a trainee.
