When should I apply to ETASC?
We’d love to welcome your child to our community. Due to growing interest, we recommend registering early to secure a spot. The sooner you get in touch, the better! Feel free to contact our friendly School Administration Managers on (02) 4323 1233 to check availability and start the application process.
What are your tuition costs?
One of our goals is to make education accessible to all. For 2025, tuition is $1,700, reviewed annually to remain affordable for families while maintaining the quality education and support we provide.
What scholarships do you offer?
We understand that sometimes financial challenges can make education difficult, which is why we offer scholarships for families experiencing hardship. These scholarships cover 50% of the school fees for the year, helping to ease the financial burden while giving your child the chance to thrive.Â
Does my child have to sit an entrance test?
No formal entrance test is required. However, depending on your child’s individual needs, we may ask for additional assessments to ensure we provide the right academic support.
Does ETASC offer a mainstream program?
Yes, we only offer mainstream curriculum that’s designed to meet the needs of high school students. Our modern classroom settings and professional staff make learning engaging and relevant for today’s world.
Is this a special needs school?
No, ETASC is not a special needs school. We offer a mainstream education that is both supportive and inclusive, designed to help students achieve academic progress.
How are the students assessed?
We take a holistic approach to understanding each student's strengths. Several tests can be used to assess your child’s academic ability and ensure that we can provide the right level of support to help them succeed.
What is ETASC’s approach to discipline?
Our approach to discipline is grounded in real-world expectations. Instead of traditional school rules, we focus on preparing students for the world of work. We have three big rules, no violence, no bullying (including online), and no dishonesty, that, if broken, may result in immediate expulsion. This helps us maintain a safe and respectful learning environment for everyone.
How does ETASC respond to bullying?
Bullying of any form is taken very seriously at ETASC. If an incident occurs, we investigate thoroughly and follow our school’s rules to ensure a fair and effective resolution. We’re committed to promoting a safe learning environment for all students.
Is there a uniform?
While we don’t have a uniform, we do have a dress code that encourages students to wear clothing appropriate for the workplace.
What is ETASC’s ‘No homework’ policy?
At ETASC, we maximise learning during school hours so students can balance their education with activities, hobbies, and family time. We also understand the demands on parents, which is why there is no homework for Years 7 to 10—all work is completed in class with teacher support. In Years 11 and 12, homework is introduced to ensure the students cover the course content, prepare for exams, and develop skills for future study.
Is ETASC a school for kids who misbehave?
No, ETASC is an independent Years 7 to 12 high school that offers a safe, respectful, and supportive teaching and learning environment for students who may not have felt comfortable or engaged in a traditional school setting. We focus on positive behaviour, personal growth, and academic success for all students.
