A Partnership Delivering Real‑World Skills and Lasting Workforce Impact
I’ve been with ADSSI Limited (ADSSI) for nearly twelve years, and during that time I’ve seen how the right training can transform a person’s confidence, competence and career. As the Team Leader for our Support Workers on the Central Coast, my role is to ensure our team delivers safe, high-quality support so clients can live their best lives with care at home.
Our partnership with ET Australia has been instrumental in achieving this outcome. We need training that not only ensures compliance but also prepares our workers for the realities of community care.
ET Australia delivered. From the outset, they took the time to understand our needs, review performance criteria with us, and align training programs to comply with both national and ADSSI standards. Training was tailored, scheduled around service demands, and delivered in a hands-on, practical and engaging way.
Their facilitators are accessible and knowledgeable, running onsite workshops and remaining available by phone, email or drop-in as needed. Learning outcomes are clearly explained, and staff consistently report leaving sessions feeling well-equipped to perform their roles. They understand what to do, why it matters and how to apply their learning effectively in the field.
A key strength of this partnership is collaboration. I have clear oversight of each trainee’s progress, strengths and areas requiring additional support. This allows us to work closely with ET Australia to ensure training outcomes are consistently achieved and embedded.
Since partnering with ET Australia, the benefits for our Central Coast Team and clients have been significant:
- Stronger client outcomes, including improved communication, safer practice and more consistent service delivery in the home.
- Confident and capable staff who step into shifts with clarity and assurance, supporting morale and a positive team culture.
- Operational improvements, including fewer errors, reduced re-work and training aligned to current standards and policies.
- Sustained workforce capability, where skills are embedded, good habits are reinforced, and a shared professional language is developed across the team.
‘ET Australia listens, adapts and tailors their training to our operational needs.’
We’ve also seen excellent staff retention and professional development outcomes since partnering with ET Australia. Many trainees remain with ADSSI, well beyond their initial qualification, progressing to Certificate IV in Ageing Support and continuing to grow within the organisation.
And our mature-aged trainees, including those nearing retirement, are thriving. They consistently perform strongly and add considerable value. For example, one mature-aged trainee, after receiving minimal training elsewhere, completed her qualification with ET Australia, joined our End-of-Life care team and went on to become a role model for other staff. Experiences like this reinforce the value of quality, well-structured training delivered in partnership.
‘Our trainees finish not just qualified but genuinely confident – and that confidence flows directly into the quality of care they provide.’
ET Australia has proven to be a reliable and professional training partner for Adssi. Their standards are high, their collaboration is exceptional, and their commitment to quality training directly supports our purpose: helping people live their best lives with care at home.
I would confidently recommend ET Australia to any organisation seeking practical, values-aligned training that supports staff, strengthens client outcomes and builds sustained workforce capability.
